President Joko Widodo and his wife arrived at Gimhae Air Force Base, Busan, South Korea on Saturday night, November 23, 2019, to attend the ASEAN-South Korea Summit. In this summit, President Jokowi will discuss the cooperation between ASEAN and South Korea for the next 30 years, with the theme: Partnership for Peace, Prosperity for People.

After arriving at the airport, President Jokowi went straight to Lotte Hotel Busan. When they arrived at the hotel, the President's entourage was greeted by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Retno Marsudi, and Head of the Investment Coordinating Board, Bahlil Lahadalia.

Lotte Hotel Busan is in the heart of Busan and close to Gwangalli Beach and Gukje Market. This 5-star hotel is within the region of Nampodong Street and Igidae Park. The largest hotel in Busan has 650 modern stylish rooms and provides the best service for guests. The hotel complex is directly connected to the Lotte Department Store where guests can shop, eat and watch cinemas.

President Jokowi is also reported to be meeting with several CEOs of South Korean companies, one of which is Hyundai, to discuss investments related to electric cars.
