Attending the ASEAN Summit in Bangkok, President Jokowi Stays in This Hotel

During his visit in Thailand, Jokowi stayed at Grand Hyatt Erawan.

President Jokowi's arrival was to attend the 35th ASEAN Summit which was held on November 2-4, 2019 with the theme "Advancing Partnership for Sustainability".

Upon landing, President Jokowi was greeted by the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Kingdom of Thailand, Ahmad Rusdi, and Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand for legal affairs, Somkit Jatusripitak. Next, the President continued his journey to Grand Hyatt Erawan, a hotel where he would stay while in Bangkok.

Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok is located on Rajdamri Road in the heart of Bangkok. The hotel is close to the famous Erawan Temple, Siam Paragon Mall and Pratunam Market (15 minutes walk). The 5-star hotel is only 6.5 km from Wat Pho and the Grand Palace.

When they arrived at the hotel, Jokowi and Mrs. Iriana were greeted by the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi and Minister of Trade Agus Suparmanto.

At the 35th ASEAN Summit later, Indonesia will invite all ASEAN members to jointly build infrastructure so as to provide economic progress and benefits to all ASEAN member countries. In addition, President Jokowi is also scheduled to meet the President of FIFA and the Secretary General of the United Nations at the summit.
