Anticipating the presidential inauguration, the occupancy of luxury hotels in Jakarta, around the DPR (house of representatives) building, is increasing. One of them is the Fairmont Jakarta Hotel. A total of six foreign heads of state will spend the night at the Fairmont Jakarta hotel.

As many as 20 state guests are confirmed to be present at the inauguration of the president and vice president which will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2019 at the DPR building, Senayan Jakarta. Fairmont Jakarta is one of the five-star hotels chosen to accommodate the delegates attending the presidential inauguration on 20 October. According to the Fairmont Jakarta hotel management, occupancy increased by 30 percent from usual on the weekend before the inauguration ceremony.

There is no special preparation to welcome state guests. The hotel only increases security for state guests staying overnight. Although there was no special preparation, the Fairmont Jakarta hotel admitted that they were proud and happy to be involved in such a historic activity.
