McDonald's (McD)-style crispy fried chicken has become a favorite food for Indonesians. Ever wonder how McD's fried chicken can be so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside?
Now the secret has been revealed. McDonald's Indonesia shares the crispy fried chicken recipe via the official Instagram Stories upload at @mcdonaldsid.
You can try it yourself at home, considering the ingredients and the method are practically not too complicated.

How to make McD's Crispy Fried Chicken
Prepare a container for making liquid dough. Mix flour, cornstarch, milk powder, baking soda, pepper, and salt. Stir well.
Add egg yolks and add water periodically while stirring the mixture until smooth. Set aside.
Next make dry dough. Prepare another container, add flour, cornstarch, baking soda, instant chicken flavored stock powder, garlic powder, and fine salt. Mix until smooth. Set aside.
In another bowl, mix the pepper and salt and then spread on the chicken that has been cut.
Dip the chicken into the dry mixture until evenly distributed, then dip into the liquid mixture. After that, put it back into the dry mixture while pressing the chicken.
Dip in ice water. Then repeat once again the chicken process in the wet mixture and the dry mixture.
Fry the chicken in a lot of oil and heat. Fry until cooked with brownish yellow color marks and dry texture.
Lift and drain. McD's crispy and delicious fried chicken is ready to be served.
