Although a native of Solo, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) apparently has a favorite hotel in Solo, namely Alila Solo. Alila Solo has 30 floors and is the tallest building in Central Java.

Of the 255 rooms available, Alila Suites is the Jokowi family's favorite room. This villa concept room is equipped with a private outdoor swimming pool, shower and bath tub. The rate for staying in Alila Suites is IDR 8 million per night.
Alila Suites is not the most expensive and largest room in this hotel, but the President Suites room which has an area of 200 square meters and costs IDR 15 million per night. Jokowi's family, who is known for being pretty humble, never stay in this room.
Alila Solo is close to tourist attractions in this city, including: Radya Pustaka Museum, Solo Paragon Lifestyle Mall, Mangkunegaran Palace, and Pasar Gede (traditional market).
