This sushi, created by Chef Angelito Araneta Jr. from the Philippines, is officially recorded and awarded as the most expensive sushi by Guinness World Records. Five nigiri sushi is wrapped in 24-carat gold leaf, three Mikimoto pearls and a 0.25-carat diamond. The price is estimated to be USD 1,978 or around IDR 28 million.
