Tamblingan Lake is one of the hidden destinations in North Bali that offers stunning natural beauty. Located on the slopes of Mount Lesung, this lake is surrounded by pristine tropical forests and is often referred to as one of the three "twin lakes" along with Lake Buyan and Beratan.

In addition to its serene natural panorama, this lake also offers a spiritual and cultural experience with the presence of ancient temples around it. With cool air and a peaceful atmosphere, Tamblingan Lake is the perfect place to escape from the crowds.

Location of Tamblingan Lake

Tamblingan Lake is located in Munduk Village, Banjar District, Buleleng Regency, on the northern slopes of Mount Lesung. This lake is one of the three twin lakes formed in a large caldera, along with Lake Buyan and Lake Beratan.

With an altitude of 1,000 meters above sea level (masl), Lake Tamblingan offers cool air and stunning natural scenery. Using private vehicles or car rentals, you can travel to Lake Tamblingan in around 2.5 hours from Denpasar.

Opening Hours and Ticket Price

  • Opening Hours: 24 hours

  • Entrance Ticket Price: 10.000 IDR per person

Although open 24 hours, the best time to visit is in the morning, between 05.00-05.30 WITA, to witness the beautiful sunrise over the lake.
