Soto Ayam Pak Dalbe: A Hidden Gem in Yogyakarta!

Soto Ayam Pak Dalbe has been around since the 1980s. During its early days, it usually roams around the Yogyakarta Palace area using a mobile food cart.

Then in 1995, Mr. Dalbe, the owner, decided to have his own place on Jenderal Sudirman Street.

Over time, Mr. Dalbe then opened several other soto branches due to the increasing number of visitors, which are located at Magelang Street and Gejayan Street.

The menu prices at Soto Ayam Pak Dalbe are very affordable. You can enjoy a serving of chicken soup for only Rp 10,000. There are also other complementary menus such as Intestine Satay, Brutu Satay, Offal Satay, and Mendoan (tempeh) with prices ranging from Rp 1,000 to Rp 3,000 only.

The hallmark of this soup menu is the sauce that tends to be sweet and the soft shredded chicken meats.

Soto Ayam Pak Dalbe is open every day, starting at 7AM-9PM. However, it often closes early if the stock is sold out. So, make sure you come early to enjoy this delicious chicken soup!
