The Churaumi Aquarium in Okinawa, Japan, is the second largest aquarium in the world after the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta.

The main Aquarium tank called 'Kuroshio Sea' or 'Kuroshio Sea' holds 7,500,000 liters of water and features the second largest acrylic glass panel in the world, measuring 8.2 meters x 22.5 meters with a thickness of 60 centimeters. Sharks, whales and manta rays are kept among many other fish species.
