Sangalaki Island is located in Derawan Islands, Berau Regency, East Kalimantan. Access to this island can be reached by sea from Tanjung Batu Port using a speedboat. The trip takes around 1-2 hours depending on the weather, offering beautiful sea views throughout the journey.

Opening Hours and Entrance Ticket Prices

Sangalaki Island is open 24 hours every day, but the best time to visit is from morning to evening, especially if you want to visit the turtle hatchery. The entrance ticket price to the island is 10.000 IDR per person, while to enter the turtle hatchery, an additional fee of 20.000 IDR per person is charged.

Green Turtle and Hawksbill Turtle Habitat

Sangalaki Island is a center for green and hawksbill turtle hatcheries.
