Location and Route to Pangandaran Nature Reserve

Pangandaran Nature Reserve is located in Pangandaran Village, Pangandaran District, Pangandaran Regency. This location can be easily reached from various major cities such as Bandung, Jakarta, and Yogyakarta.

The trip from Jakarta via the Cipularang Toll Road and the Pantura route can take 6-8 hours, depending on traffic conditions. Buses from Pangandaran terminal are available every day for those who want to use public transportation.

Opening Hours of Pangandaran Nature Reserve

Pangandaran Nature Reserve is open every day from 07.00 to 17.00 WIB. Visitors are advised to come in the morning to enjoy the fresh air and see the wildlife activities that are more active at that time.

Entrance Ticket Prices to Pangandaran Nature Reserve

The entrance ticket price to this Nature Reserve differs between weekdays and weekends, as well as between local and foreign tourists:

  • Domestic Tourists: 16.000 IDR (weekdays) and 21.000 IDR (weekends)
  • Foreign Tourists: 210.000 IDR (weekdays) and 310.000 IDR (weekends)

Additional fees may be charged for using the services of a local guide, but highly recommended to get a more in-depth explanation of the flora and fauna in the nature reserve.

Animal Diversity

Pangandaran Nature Reserve is home to various types of wildlife, including:

Rare Flora

White Sand Beach
