The main attraction of Lingko Rice Fields is the unique and exotic spider web pattern, which the local people call "lodok" or "odok". Each plot of rice field extends from the center point, creating an interesting web pattern different from the usual rice field pattern.

This 100-hectare rice field is not only beautiful to look at, but also has deep cultural meaning. Land division is based on a customary system that respects local wisdom and the sovereignty of local farmers.

The lodok system is not only a beautiful sight but also represents the philosophy of life of the Manggarai people. The division of customary land is led by Tu’a Teno, the customary leader who determines the distribution of land according to the role of each family in society.

This tradition not only maintains balance in land distribution but also preserves the identity and culture of the ancestors of the Manggarai people. This is what makes Lingko Rice Fields an important symbol in maintaining local culture and wisdom.
