While attending the wedding reception of his daughter, Kahiyang Ayu and Muhammad Bobby Afif Nasution, President Joko Widodo stayed at the Adimulia Hotel Medan.
The wedding reception, which was held on Sunday, November 26, 2017, was preceded by a carnival procession using seven golden carriages. Prior to that, Jokowi was also given a surname by the Batak indigenous people, just like Kahiyang.
