Erasmus Huis is a library that is still part of the Dutch Embassy. Erasmus Huis itself is the center of Dutch culture. Established since 1971 at Menteng Raya No. 25, then moved to Lot S- Setiabudi, Jalan Haji R. Rasuna Said Blok C No. 3, Kuningan, South Jakarta, which is where it is currently standing since 1981.

In addition to being a reading center, this library often turns its function into a venue for award events. Such as an award event from the Kingdom of the Netherlands called The Prince Claus Fund which is held every year as a form of appreciation to artists who are considered to be developing culture on an international level.

Most of the book collections are in Dutch, but there are also English or Indonesian. Literature and history are the most extensive categories of books in this library. Stock taking is done three times a year, all books are imported from the Netherlands, except those in Indonesian. The total number of book collections reaches 14,000 books.
