Here’s another Garuda Indonesia airplane seen wearing a mask. This time, the Garuda Indonesia aircraft, a Boeing 737-800NG, is designed to use a mask themed Indonesia Pride, designed by Mr. Jaelani Sidik. This design showcases various kinds of Indonesian culture and tourism places, including: Barong Bali, Borobudur Temple, Komodo dragons and volcanoes.
The inaugural flight of the aircraft with the new livery mask was carried out on October 14 for the Jakarta-Makassar-Jayapura route. Previously, Garuda Indonesia aircraft type A330-900neo was designed to use a plain blue mask.
The winner of this design competition, Mr. Jaelani Sidik was awarded a free round-trip ticket for business class for domestic routes, handed over directly by the CEO of Garuda Indonesia, Mr. Irfan Setiaputra.
