The Survey World Airport Awards 2020 is organized by SkyTrax. In the Skytrax World Airport Awards 2019, Soekarno-Hatta International Airport managed to enter the Top 40 World's Best Airport in The World.

In a press release on Saturday 2 November 2019, Budi Karya Sumadi, the Minister of Transportation of Indonesia, invited all Indonesians to support and vote for Soekarno-Hatta International Airport to become the best airport in the world.

From year to year the ranking of Soekarno-Hatta Airport continues to rise, in 2018 it was ranked 45th in the world, compared to 44th in 2017 and 63rd in 2016.
