Carrot cake is a typical Singaporean dish whose main ingredient is radish fried with eggs, onions and spices. Chwee kueh is a steamed rice cake with radish. To make chwee kueh, rice flour and water are mixed together to form a slightly thick mixture. They are then placed in a small bowl-shaped container and steamed. After that, the cake is sprinkled with radish which is sliced like dice and served with chili sauce.
