Location
History of Cetho Temple
Cetho Temple is located at an altitude of about 1,496 meters above sea level. Cetho Temple is included as one of the heritage of the Majapahit Kingdom. When found, this temple was in the form of ruin with 14 terraces extending from west to east. The stratified structure is strongly suspected of being the archipelago's culture with its Hinduism. The first restoration of Cetho Temple was carried out in 1970 by Sudjono Humardani, who had served as Suharto's assistant. Cetho Temple is currently used as a ruwatan (the traditional ceremony that aims to make the child or the unlucky) for Hindus.
Entrance Ticket Prices at Cetho Temple
This temple is open every day, from 09.00 AM to 05.00 PM. The entrance ticket price is IDR 3,000 for domestic tourists and IDR 10,000 for foreign tourists.
