Plaosan Temple is a beautiful and unique temple complex located in Central Java, Indonesia. The temple consists of two main temples, Pura Penataran Agung and Pura Batur, which are connected by a series of smaller temples and shrines.

Plaosan Temple was built in the 9th century by the Mataram Kingdom, and is one of the best-preserved temple complexes from this period.

The complex is located on a hill, surrounded by rice fields and lush vegetation. The main temple is made of red brick, with intricate carvings and reliefs covering the walls. The smaller temples and shrines are made of white stone, and decorated with beautiful mosaics.
