The Kaiju King Godzilla looms over and peeks at you!
Imagine staying in the middle of Tokyo, then looking up at the sky and there's Godzilla's head, the Kaiju king, towering over and peeking at you!
This is the surprise that awaits guests at Hotel Gracery Shinjuku, one of the newest properties of Japan's Fujita Kanko Group. Located in the bustling center of Tokyo's Shinjuku district, this hotel stands tall above the surrounding buildings.
The Godzilla film was released in 2015, a year after the 60th anniversary of the first Godzilla film. To mark this milestone, Godzilla's massive head was placed on the 8th floor, 52 meters above the ground - as tall and fierce as the original movie monster.
Godzilla Room
Guests can now admire this unique attraction from many areas of the hotel, including several "Godzilla-view" guest rooms and an international restaurant.
Earlier this year, Hotel Gracery Shinjuku added a special Godzilla themed room. This room is an ideal choice for Godzilla fan guests, featuring a statue of Godzilla, plus a wall decorated with posters from the film, and a special "trick wall" where other artworks appear.
Located in the popular entertainment district of Kabukicho, next to the Shinjuku Koma Theater and only a five-minute walk from JR Shinjuku Station, Hotel Gracery Shinjuku is in a great location. If you're feeling lost and can't find a hotel, look up and look for Godzilla's huge head, which stares menacingly across the Tokyo skyline!
