Garuda Indonesia has released the latest safety procedures to maintain the health and safety of passengers
Along with the opening of several flight routes, Garuda Indonesia has prepared the latest safety procedures to maintain the health and safety of passengers.
Starting from the arrival at the airport, passengers are advised to keep their distance, wear masks and have their temperatures measured.
The check-in process can be done without contact, namely via online through the application or website. For passengers who check-in through the counter, a protective shield has been installed at each counter to avoid physical contact between staff and passengers. In addition, there is a self-printing facility for boarding passes where passengers can take their boarding passes directly from the printer without contacting the staff.
Garuda Indonesia also ensures the improvement of the cleanliness of all parts of the aircraft and the regular spraying of disinfectants. All pilots and cabin crew will also be ensured to wear masks in flight. Special cabin crew will also use gloves and face shields when interacting and serving passengers.
Before flying, the cabin crew will distribute personal health kits containing items such as disinfectant and face mask for passengers. The magazine service will be temporarily suspended. In-flight meals will be served in box packaging and guaranteed hygiene.
In his remarks, Mr. Irfan Setiaputra, President and CEO of Garuda Indonesia, emphasized that the safety and health of passengers is the main priority Because You Matter .
