This is great news for those who have been looking to travel to Singapore, as it makes the process much simpler and easier.

Vaccine is still required

However, there are a few things to keep in mind if you are planning on traveling to Singapore. First and foremost, you need to make sure that you have a valid passport and visa. If you do not have a valid passport, you will not be able to enter the country.

Second, you need to make sure that you have been vaccinated against the coronavirus. Vaccines are currently available in many countries around the world, so this shouldn't be too difficult to do.

Finally, you must ensure that you have a negative PCR test result within 72 hours of your arrival in Singapore. If you do not have a negative PCR test result, you will be asked to quarantine for 14 days upon arrival.

PM Lee Hsien Loong gives speech Thursday morning

Singapore's Prime Minister, Lee Hsien Loong, said in a televised address on Thursday morning that the move to reopen to vaccinated tourists would provide a much-needed boost to business.

The Prime Minister said reopening was a "calibrated and careful" approach, and that Singaporeans should continue to take precautions even as the country opens.

He added that the government would work closely with the tourism industry to promote Singapore as a safe travel destination.

This is good news for businesses in the tourism and hospitality sectors, which have been hit hard by the pandemic. The reopening of the border will allow them to resume operations and welcome back visitors.

This is also good news for Singaporeans who have been wanting to travel for a long time. With the borders reopening, we can finally start planning our vacations again.

However, we must remember that the pandemic is not over. We must continue to take precautions and follow safe management measures while traveling.
