At Coachella 2022, vaccinations, swabs and masks are not required
Coachella 2022 is the most important American music festival of the year. The event will be held over two weekends, April 15-17 and 22-24 at the Empire Polo Club, Indio, California, after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This year's main lineup is Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, the Weeknd feat Swedish House Mafia, Phoebe Bridgers, Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, Jamie xx, Run the Jewels, Disclosure, and many more.
Although Coachella did not make announcements via social media, the health protocol guidelines on the festival's website have been updated, whereby vaccination, swab or testing , as well as masks are not a requirement to attend the festival.
This change in the COVID-19 protocol follows the suspension of the statewide mask mandate, which took effect in mid-February.
Meanwhile, masks and vaccinations are still required for several locations, such as school areas, public transportation, and in health care areas.
