Usagi means rabbit in Japanese.
Cafe Usagi Tokyo has opened at Suntec City. It is a modern Japanese café, and its name comes from the Japanese word for "rabbit", explaining its rabbit logo.
Serving Japanese inspired menu
As the name implies, the café sells a range of Japanese inspired food and drinks, from its primary menu items such as matcha (S$5.50) and matcha latte (S$6.80), served in both hot and cold variations, to its hōjicha latte (S$6.80) – also served in both hot and cold variations – and its assortment of other Japanese teas served by the pot.
The café also offers handcrafted mochi ice cream, made in-house by a Japanese chef with carefully selected ingredients like Hokkaido milk.
Customers can enjoy these unique treats alongside waffles, served with either kuromitsu (Japanese sugar syrup) or maple syrup, as well as strawberry mochi. For a truly authentic Japanese experience, this café is the perfect destination.
