The Banyusoco Teak Forest is located about 40 KM from the center of Yogyakarta City and can be reached by private vehicle in about 1 hour.

The Banyusoco Teak Forest is located in Banyusoco Hamlet in Paliyan. This area is often passed by tourists who are visiting the various beaches in Gunung Kidul.
