This beach has a wooden pier that extends from the beach to the sea. The panorama is very charming, especially during the sunset. This is Bentar Beach in Probolinggo.
Facility
There are not many facilities installed in this place. This beach is a beach without sand and has brown water like most northern beaches, so it is not suitable for playing on the beach. In this place, there is a playground for children, but it is not well maintained at this time.
The wooden pier is still commonly used, but some parts of the wooden bridge are rotten and there are many marks of vandalism by visitors. It is best not to take children up to the pier for safety reasons. A prayer room and public toilets are available.
This place is also famous for seeing the migration of whale sharks, mangrove forests, and sailing to the Gili islands. You can watch the migration of whale sharks in the sea by renting a boat.
