Travelling to Malang is not complete if you don't stop by Warung Lama Haji Ridwan in Besar Traditional Market. This place is a simple food stall serving various home-cooked dishes and has been around since 1919, or about 100 years.

Warung Lama Haji Ridwan started by selling rawon and carrying it while travelling to several areas in Malang. Unexpectedly, this rawon became very popular with the public, and they decided to sell it at the Pasar Besar shophouse in 1925.
