The figure of Mother Kartini is certainly not foreign to Indonesian. As the birthplace of the female emancipation hero, R.A. Kartini, the city of Jepara preserved thousands of history in a museum. This is the R.A. museum. Kartini.
This museum stores a number of artifacts left by Kartini's mother and her family while living in Jepara. This place is suitable for historical and educational tours and is friendly for children.
This museum consists of 3 buildings which were built on an area of 5,210 square meter which when viewed from above the buildings are in the form of the letters K, T, and N which stands for Kartini.
In a separate room, there is a collection of giant fish bones that live in Karimunjawa and a presentation of historical and archaeological objects found in the Jepara area as well as the famous Jepara handicrafts.
This museum has a large enough parking area and visitor area. Admission is free Monday to Friday. Meanwhile, on weekends, children are charged Rp. 5,000 and adults Rp. 8,000.
