Mount Batok, located adjacent to Mount Bromo, is a mountain with a peak of 2,400 meters above sea level. This mountain was formed in the same caldera as Mount Bromo. The name is Mount Tengger Purba Caldera caldera.
Actually, not only Mount Bromo and Batok you will find in this caldera, but there are also other mountains, i.e., Mount Segoro Wedi, Mount Widodaren, and Mount Kursi. It's just that Mount Bromo is the most famous of the five peaks. In fact, people often mistake Mount Batok for Mount Bromo because of the similarities between the two.
