Alahan Panjang Tea Plantation is the largest tea leaf-producing plantation in West Sumatra which is under the management of PT. Nusantara plantation with an area of 20 hectares.
This plantation is located on the Bukit Barisan slopes of the eastern part of the Kerinci National Park with an altitude of 1400-1600 meters above sea level.

Alahan Panjang Tea Plantation is located in Nagari Alahan Panjang, Lembah Gumanti District, Solok Regency, West Sumatra Province.
The distance from the city of Padang is 72 kilometers with a total travel time of 2 hours. If from Solok is only 60 kilometers with a total travel time of approximately 1 hour drive.
Before visiting, you should prepare a jacket to wear later when in the tea plantation area because the air is cold.
