Tirta Gangga is a water palace renowned for its grand embellishments and surrounded by a gorgeous garden area. It covers an area of approximately 1.2 hectares, with a network of ponds and gardens situated in every nook and corner.

The water palace was constructed by King Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem Agung of the Karangasem Kingdom in 1948. However, it was later destroyed and buried in volcanic ash after the eruption of Mount Agung.

Today, Tirta Gangga is home to thousands of koi fish that swim freely in the pond area. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by various statues and buildings adorned with beautiful Balinese carvings. You can get a closer look at the center of the pool via the rock pathway.

Tirta Gangga is currently used as a sacred area by the Hindu community in Bali. Visitors are expected to maintain cleanliness and proper behavior while visiting this site. It also features a swimming pool with crystal-clear water that is surrounded by nature.
