Built by King A.A. Ngurah Karangasem in 1866, Taman Mayura is part of the king's palace and symbolizes power and majesty. Initially, this park was known as Taman Kelepug before being named Taman Mayura.

Taman Mayura is located in the center of Mataram city, easily accessible from various places in Lombok. The operating hours are from 08.00 to 21.00 WITA every day, so visitors have flexible time to visit.

The entrance ticket price for Taman Mayura is different for local, domestic, and foreign visitors. Tickets for local visitors are 5.000 IDR for adults and free for children.
