Subway Singapore is bringing back its rendang sandwich with a new addition: prawn rendang.
A new flavor will join the current lineup of chicken and beef rendang.
Sub rendang is made with coconut milk, seasoned with the unique herbs and spice mix, which is a popular Malaysian flavour, and served on lettuce with tomatoes, onions and cucumber.
While customers can customize their sandwiches with assorted vegetables and sauces, Subway recommends pairing the prawn rendang with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion and sweetcorn.
Sub Rendang Subway is made with a blend of spices including chili powder, coriander, cumin, and turmeric. The chicken is cooked until very tender, and the flavor of the marinade really sinks in. Subway rendang flavored sub is a great option for those looking for something a little different from the usual fare.
Shrimp rendang sub starts at S$7.90 (Rp 85,000) for a 6 inch size and S$ 12.90 (Rp 140,000) for a 1 foot (footlong) size.
Subway rendang flavored sub is only available for a limited time, so make sure to try it while you can!
Pandan Cookies
Another seasonal favorite coming back is pandant cookie ($1.40).
Pandan cake is said to have a naturally sweet taste and delicate aroma, with hints of strong coconut, almond and vanilla flavors.
Subway Singapore pandan cookies are a delicious and unique treat that you won't find anywhere else in the world. This traditional Singaporean cake is made with pandan leaves, which gives it a distinctive green color and a slightly sweet taste.
Pandan cakes are often served as part of a traditional Singapore breakfast, but they can also be enjoyed as a snack or dessert.
Limited availability until 28 June
Subway rendang and pandan cake will be available at all Subway restaurants across the island from 6 April to 28 June 2022.
It will also be available on delivery platforms like Grab, Foodpanda, and Deliveroo.
