Flying with Singapore Airlines (SIA) will be even more enjoyable for those traveling overseas. Starting 1 July 2023, SIA will provide free unlimited WiFi access to all KrisFlyer members in all cabin classes, including Premium Economy Class and Economy Class.
Through a press release issued on 31 May 2023, Singapore Airlines (SIA) announced that this free WiFi service will be available on all SIA aircraft except for seven Boeing 737-800 NG aircraft which are not yet equipped with WiFi. This enhanced WiFi offering will be available on most of SIA's entire aircraft fleet and on most of SIA's global route network.
Stay Connected at 36,000 Feet
"Now, customers in all cabin classes can stay in touch with loved ones, work online, or follow their latest news and social media posts, even at 36,000 feet in the sky," said Singapore Airlines.
How to Enjoy WiFi Service on the Airplane
To enjoy the WiFi service, customers must enter their KrisFlyer membership details at the time of booking via the "manage booking" option online or at check-in. Non-KrisFlyer can also sign up for free membership online or via the Singapore Airlines digital content portal on their personal mobile device while on board to enjoy free WiFi onboard.
