S20 Songkran Music Festival Comes to Hong Kong — Songkran is a significant yearly celebration in Thailand, with people celebrating by splashing water on each other and sprinkling white powder as a way to welcome the new year and ward off bad luck.
In April, the Songkran Festival is held in Hong Kong every year. However, the city will now host the original Thai Songkran Music Festival for the first time. The S2O Songkran Music Festival was initiated in Bangkok in 2015 and has since extended to other locations, including Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan.
The festival features astonishing stage productions and 360-degree water spray capabilities, enhancing the lively atmosphere throughout the festival.
The 2023 S2O Songkran Music Festival in Hong Kong presents a thrilling line-up of EDM, dance, and pop music. Notable artists scheduled to perform include Northern Ireland's top-selling DJ Ben Nicky, American duo Krewella, Brazilian DJ DK Liu, and electronic house producer MAKJ. Moreover, American DJ NGHTMRe and record producer Nicky Romero will guest on day one and join for the first time, respectively. More artists are expected to join the line-up, so keep an eye out for further updates.
