Gamplong Nature Studio became the shooting location for several famous films by director Hanung Bramantyo, such as Sultan Agung: The Untold Love Story (2018), Habibie and Ainun 3 (2019), and Bumi Manusia (2019). This tour was built by Mooryati Soedibyo (Founder of Mustika Ratu), who wanted to give appreciation and gifts to Indonesian filmmakers. Now Gamplong Nature Studio has been officially granted to the local government.

Gamplong Nature Studio has architectural designs of ancient buildings from the 1950-1970s. This building was made as closely as possible to the past conditions in Indonesia. The building and Gamplong Nature Studio also provide various antique vehicles, such as trains to old cars, that you can use to take pictures.
