The Orient Express Silentseas — On January 10, 2023, Accor, a business group that manages several properties in the hotel and luxury sectors worldwide, plans to launch a "Superyacht" in collaboration with Orient Express. This ship is expected to be the largest superyacht in the world.
Accor is no stranger to groundbreaking projects, having collaborated with French shipbuilder Chantiers de l'Atlantique to construct a remarkable 220-meter vessel with three masts reaching over 300 feet high.
Named Orient Express Silentseas, this superyacht will feature 54 suites and accommodate 120 passengers, making it more exclusive than Ritz-Carlton's Evrima superyacht, which can accommodate up to 298 passengers. Accordingly, Accor CEO Sébastien Bazin informed Bloomberg that tariffs for Orient Express Silentseas will be priced higher.
Maxime d'Angeac, a French architect who is also responsible for Accor's upcoming Orient Express train and Orient Express hotel in Rome, will oversee the superyacht's interior design. Many people are eagerly anticipating this remarkable project, which is scheduled for completion in 2024.
Starting in the summer of 2026, Orient Express Silenseas will sail along the Mediterranean Riviera, stopping at ports such as Portofino, Capri, and Saint Tropez, before traveling to the Caribbean in the winter. Orders are also set to commence in 2024. Will you be one of the lucky individuals to experience the world's most luxurious superyacht?
