The aircraft, formerly owned by Mandala Airlines which is now defunct, is situated on the edge of a cliff overlooking Nyang Nyang beach on Bali Island. In 2021, developer Felix Demin bought the aircraft and is currently transforming it into a sophisticated and luxurious home.

The luxurious Private Jet Villa By Hanging Gardens in Bali is set to be open for renting when it's completely finished. According to reports, the rate per night will be approximately USD 7,300 (equivalent to S$9,750). The villa features two bedrooms and a swimming pool, and bookings can be made starting from April this year.
Developer Felix Demin and investor Alexander Lebedev are leading the project. During an interview with CNN, Demin shared that even before acquiring the aircraft, he already had a vision of transforming it into a one-of-a-kind structure and decided to focus on creating a villa.

It took Felix approximately two months to bring the body of the Boeing 737 to the edge of the cliff and integrate it with various other elements, such as electrical wiring, building design, and other amenities, in order to bring his idea to life.

The interior of the villa boasts a living room with a bar, a sofa bed, and a glass portal. The two bedrooms come equipped with walk-in wardrobes, and the cockpit of the Boeing 737 has been transformed into a spacious bathroom.
