The Korean drama Goblin tells the story of the struggle of a dokkaebi (played by Gong Yoo) to find his bride (Kim Go-eun). The Goblin shooting location in Korea itself was filled with many fanatical fans who wanted to 'step back' and reminisce about the love story of the Goblin.

One of the most popular locations in the drama Goblin is Jumunjin Breakwater. This location is popular among tourists because it is the place where Goblins and Ji Eun-tak meet for the first time.

Also at this location, Kim Shin -Goblin's real name- (Gong Yoo) gives a beautiful bunch of buckwheat flowers to Ji Eun-tak (Kim Go-eun). Jumunjin Breakwater also becomes a romantic spot for the Goblin couple as Kim Shin covers Eun-tak who wears his iconic red scarf when he cries.

Jumunjin Breakwater, which is located in the Gangneung-si area, Gangwon-do, was originally built to protect the coastline from erosion and landslides.

How to Get to Jumunjin Breakwater

You can take a bus bound for Gangneung from Seoul Express Bus Terminal, buses depart every 15 -30 minutes. The trip to Gangneung takes about 3 hours 15 minutes. Once in Gangneung, take the bus bound for Jumujin. The journey takes about 20 minutes. From there, you can hire a taxi to (Ju-mun-jin hae-byeon).
