Otanaha Fort is located in Dembe I Village, Kota Barat District, Gorontalo City. It is strategic and close to Lake Limboto, so it offers stunning natural scenery.

Access to the fort is easy by private vehicles or public transportation. You must climb hundreds of steps to reach the fort, but this journey is worth the beautiful scenery.

Otanaha Fort can be visited every day from 08.00 to 18.00 WITA. The entrance ticket is affordable, only 5.000 IDR per person.

According to legend, the name "Otanaha" comes from the story of a mother and her child who found this place as a refuge. This story adds to the historical appeal that makes this fort even more interesting to explore.
