Goa Lawah Temple is located in Pasinggahan Village, Dawan District, Klungkung Regency, Bali. Located on the main road to Karangasem, this temple is easily accessible from various points in Bali, including Denpasar. Goa Lawah Temple is open every day from 08.00 to 18.30 WITA. To enter the temple area, visitors are charged a ticket fee of 25.000 IDR per person. With this ticket, tourists can explore the temple area integrated with the bat cave and the calming beach view.

The main attraction of Goa Lawah Temple is the combination of the magnificent temple building and the bat cave filled with thousands of bats. This cave has a mystical story associated with the dragon Basuki, who is believed to be the protector and balancer of nature.

This temple was built in 929 Saka (1007 AD) on the orders of Mpu Kuturan, a spiritual advisor to King Anak Wungsu. Goa Lawah Temple is important for Balinese Hindu tradition, especially because it is part of the Nyegara Gunung ceremony.
