Kartini Beach is the most famous beach in Jepara. In addition to the beauty of the beach, there is a giant turtle which is the icon of this tourist spot.
The identity of this turtle is actually the Turtle Ocean Park building. Inside the turtle shell, there are several tourist rides such as an aquarium and fish spa.
Entrance ticket
The ticket to Kartini beach is quite cheap, only Rp. 10,000. To enter Turtle Ocean Park, an entrance ticket of Rp. 17,000 is required. Although it is a bit shabby because there are many street vendors, the iconic turtle and its location close to the harbor make Kartini Beach very crowded with tourists.
Play Water and Isolated Island
If you want to play more water with friends and family, you can go to Bandengan Beach which is only 7 km from Kartini Beach. This place has many facilities for playing in the sea such as Jetski, banana boat and raft.
In addition, you can spend Rp. 25,000 to take a boat that docks to Panjang island, both from Kartini beach and Bandengan beach. The length of the sea journey is about 15 - 30 minutes. In addition to getting a phenomenal view of this small island, you can also enjoy the waves along the way. Choose to sail in sunny weather because the waves can be quite high when the weather is not favorable.
