This giant floating baby statue measures 9 meters x 3 meters and weighs 7 tons. This statue is made of bronze and steel which is painted white. The statue, named Planet, is the work of British artist, Marc Quinn.

When creating this work, Marc Quinn was inspired by his newborn son Lucas in 2008.

Created in 2008, the statue was exhibited for the first time at the contemporary sculpture exhibition Beyond Limits at Chatsworth House, then in 2012 at The Littoral Zone, at the Musee Oceanographic in Monaco. This statue was later purchased and donated to Gardens by the Bay by Mr. Putra Masagung and Mrs. Imelda Masagung.
