McDonald's Singapore and Singaporean actor Ben Yeo have teamed up to launch Crispy Hainanese Chicken Burger. The burger, which was launched to celebrate National Day, will be available starting August 5, 2021 for a limited time.
Hainanese Chicken Rice Burger at Mcdonald's Singapore
The new Crispy Hainanese Chicken Burger (from S$6.60) features a crispy chicken patty with ginger sauce, garlic chili sauce and dark sweet sauce. Each burger comes with a sachet of Dark Sweet Sauce to sprinkle on your burger or patty.
A la carte Crispy Hainanese Chicken Burger is priced at S$6.60 while Extra Value Meals are priced from S$8.30.
In a virtual media preview on August 2, Yeo said he had decided to turn his Hainanese Chicken Rice into a burger because he grew up on street food. He added that "one of his favorites is Hainanese Chicken Rice", which he can eat every day.
The Crispy Hainanese Chicken Burger will launch on August 5, 2021 at all McDonald's restaurants, after breakfast hours. It will also be available via Drive-Thru, and for delivery via McDelivery, GrabFood, and Foodpanda.
