Location and Access to Bair Island

Bair Island is located in Tual City, Southeast Maluku, about 30 minutes from Tual using a speedboat. Access to this island passes through calm and clear waters, providing a pleasant travel experience and beautiful sea views.

Opening Hours and Ticket Price of Bair Island

Bair Island does not have official opening hours or entrance tickets, so visitors can come anytime. Even without a ticket fee, tourists need to rent a boat from Tual with a rental price of 500.000 IDR to 700.000 IDR for a round trip.

The main attraction is its blue-green and clear sea water, similar to the scenery in Raja Ampat. The high cliffs surrounding the island add to the exotic scenery, making Bair Island a stunning marine tourism destination.

One of the iconic spots on Bair Island is "Lorong Mati," a narrow corridor between two high cliffs that is a favorite location for taking pictures. The water in Lorong Mati is very calm and clear, perfect for swimming or snorkeling while enjoying the beautiful underwater scenery.

Bair Island is surrounded by mangrove forests that provide a natural and shady feel. Visitors can snorkel or dive around the island to explore the diversity of marine life and go around by boat to see the mangrove forests up close.

Because Bair Island is uninhabited, there are no public facilities such as toilets or places to eat here. Visitors are advised to bring food, drinks, and snorkeling or diving equipment from Tual so they can enjoy the natural beauty comfortably.
