Shake Shack says that one of its business missions is to make every Shake Shack outlet a reflection of its community. Weaving bamboo is a centuries-old tradition in Chengdu, China. They worked with Daoming bamboo weavers to bring this installation to life.

Shake Shack Chengdu is also committed to its motto “Stand For Something Good” and will be donating the 2,760 bamboo sticks used to build this to a bamboo weaver organization to reuse for future work.
